We spend the time doing a personal treatment plan and make sure you understand every stage in creating your new denture. In most cases we can try your new denture in to check the feel and look and make sure it’s “you” and if needed make any adjustments, before your new dentures are finished.
Full Dentures
A full denture can replace your entire upper or lower natural teeth after they are extracted. They can also replace some of the supporting bone and soft tissue which can shrink or resorb away after the teeth are removed.
A well designed denture can help you in a number of ways:
- Appearance (Aesthetics) - Wearing a denture to replace your missing teeth provides support for the lips and cheeks and can give you back your correct facial contours and profile.
- Eating (Mastication) – Your ability to chew is improved by replacing your missing natural teeth with denture teeth.
- Talking (Phonetics) – When your missing natural teeth are replaced by a denture you are usually able to speak easier and pronounce words better.
